Insomnia?

Did anyone else experience a bad case of insomnia when they returned from their honeymoon? I haven't had a good night sleep since the night before my wedding. Everyone keeps telling me that it is due to living in a new place but it has been going on for a month and a half. UGH!!

I didn`t experience insomnia but I`m sure that the new place plus the excitement of being a newlywed and the aftershock of the whirlwind of wedding plans and the wedding itself can disrupt your sleeping patterns. Is anything else going on otherwise that you are worried about or stressing over? IWhat did happen for me was something that was on the back burner in my head with all the wedding stuff found it`s way to the forefront again and I`ve been dealing with it now, 4 months after our wedding. Try some changes in your regular habits right before you go to sleep. Definitely watch caffeine for several hours before as well as exercising too close to bedtime which energizes your body and can add to the sleeplessness. Even if this stuff didn`t affect you before, you should try to to avoid them. Hang in there.

Insomnia?

Stress is the most common reason that people loose sleep. I have bouts of insomnia from time to time. I found that keeping a journal by my bed and writing all my concerns, worries, things to do tomorrow, etc., down help me get them off my mind and I'm able to relax and fall asleep.
