is this normal?

i started to post this on the 2010 board.. but got a reply, so i deleted it. but i'm not sure if this is normal?

Hi Vinnie,
I’m going to be annoying again and ask a question, do we get a CD of the images (proofs) or just the books we got?
I’ve been talking to other girls and they’ve all gotten CDs.
I just feel like we over-paid. I’ve spoken with other girls that a lot more than us and paid a lot less! We only get 30 pictures in our album, we’re really NOT happy with the quality of the pictures. We can’t pick out a thank you because we really don’t like any of the pictures enough to be a thank you. I have no idea what the lay out of the thank yous look like. I know you said to tell you the ID#’s and you’d create something for us, but we might not like it. I’d rather see examples and get ideas from that.
Joe is avoiding looking at the pictures or doing anything further with you guys because he is just… extremely unhappy (is the most appropriate way to say it).

So, do we get a CD or not?
Can you give me examples of thank yous?

You will receive a high rez dvd of images 6 months after your albums are delivered to you. I will compile a selection of composite Tys for you to view and send you a link to view them. Hope you had a good holiday and a happy new year.

when did you girls get your dvds?
i want to upload my pictures to show people and i can't. and i have to wait another 6 months AFTER i get my albums, meanwhile my albums are going to take FOREVER because we hate our pictures.

i really wish we would have booked with duet or someone else.

How do you pick your pictures for your album if you dont' have the pics? Or are they just online somewhere?

Omg! I've been having pic anxiety and have the same vendor! I only like about 75 out of the 400 or so proofs we got. We Re only getting 24 pics in our album because we had the basic package I was told that we would have to pay an extra $150 for our pics to be put on cd. Dh and I just scanned and cropped the proofs bc that's too much to pay. I should have my tys this week and am nervous bc I didn't speak to them about whitening my teeth I should have been more like you and advocated for myself more. We dealt with the lindenhurst location and that's just too far for me to go back and forth since I'd ranter deal with vendors in person.

When we priced the DVD I believe we were told we'd have it either at pickup of the album or two weeks after if we placed the order then. Did the other 2010 bride give you a similar timeframe?

there's an online album and I got 4 books of proofs.

we had our proofs online which is how we chose our album, but we get our disc when we receive our album.

We got our dvd at the same time our online proofs were posted.

is this patken? we ddint book with them because they told us that we couldnt get a DVD and 'rights' to our photos until after we got the album. i think that is their practice

Can you tell me who your Patken photographer was?? You only got a total of 400 photos???
