Kieran gave Slash a bath.

I'm speechless and a bit confused.

For those who don't know, which I'm sure there are several as there are many new faces around, Slash is a kitten and Kieran is my husband. K and I are both OBSESSED with Slashy.

Slash has been a bit mopey in the heat....nothing serious but his behavior has changed just a touch. He wears a tuxedo but he is mostly black and his coat gets really hot to the touch.

So I get home from work at 4:45 and run upstairs to our roofdeck to catch whatever sun is left and read my kindle.

I JUST walked back in...Kieran is in the shower and slash comes running out of the bedroom with spikey, wet fur! He is pretty skinny and looks SO funny being wet!

I walk into the bathroom and ask what the hell happened thinking Slash may have jumped in the shower

he has tried before...

Anyways, Kieran said it started when he dropped an ice cube fell on the ground and slash started licking it and playing with it and thats when it hit kieran that slash may benefit from an 'ice bath'....

I just started laughing out loud as Slash started up at me with his damp, spikey hair as I pictured my manly husband cooling a baby kitten off with ice....

E, this post made me laugh hysterically all over again!!! I LOVE the lore of bear (sounds like a book title)....

Anyways, no pics...which is a real shame because Slash was at his rock&roll-est! There is something very rock and roll about him between his name and his tuxedo...but his spikey hair really completed the look!

OMG that is too sweet! He's was concerned for little Slash! DH put the AC in last night so Fettuccini (our monster kitty) would be comfy!

it really is a great story re: Bear... apparently she came home covered in poo, and BIL saw no other option than to throw her in the sink...

well be prepared to take pics if slash ever gets a bath again!
