Where do you go to get the marriage certificate. VitalCheck right?

Well, I entered all the info in and it says it's unavailable.

I'm confused

Re: Marriage certificate question

What do you mean to get the certificate? A copy you mean? You'd have to go through the City Clerk's Office.

To change my name on my passport I thought I needed an original or certified copy of my marriage certificate. I just googled everything and it said through vitalcheck.
I just checked this and I think it's only if you got married in the 5 boroughs.

Re: Marriage certificate question

you can go to town hall where you originally got you marriage cert.

Also when I got my origianl in the mail there was a piece of paper with it that will tell you who to send away to to get another one. See if you have that.

Re: Marriage certificate question

Didn't you get your original in the mail? You had to or you wouldn't have been able to change your name on your license or SS card.
