my bday sux :(

today's my 30th birthday, and FH was supposed to take me to Jean Georges for dinner.

unfortunately he just called and has a migraine so dinner is cancelled.

and now i'm all alone on my bday.

sorry for being lame, i'm just sad and wanted to vent.

Don't be down - chin up! Get yourself a bottle of prosecco or a fun bottle of wine....get into really comfy clothes (maybe treat yourself to some new gear!!)....light some candles....grab some cupcakes and celebrate your birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with what one of the other girls said- get yourself some wine, comfy clothes and cuddle up and watch a movie. Celebrate a bit tonight and then I'm sure your husband will make it up to you as soon as he's feeling better.

im sorry sweetie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what does your hubby usually do when he has a migraine? maybe you could cuddle up with him for a bit. then go out tonight for a drink

or order a fun movie on tv (one that he would HATE) and just make it a YOU night. order some food and enjoy!

you know he will make it up for you. and dont worry, you have 364 more nights to celebrate beeing 30!!

My last birthday was horrible too...but a couple of friends got together last minute to take me out to dinner and help me drown my sorrows in some 2 for 1 margaritas and appetizers. Maybe you could do the same? It really helped me, I ended my birthday on a good note.
