my name is NOT mora!!!

just got an email from a coworker ... 'dear mora' ...

i responded to her and wrote my name correctly at the bottom.

she just responded to that and said 'thanks mora'




she's really nice though (it's obviously an accident) ... but it just annoys me when this happens (it happens fairly often so i guess that's part of my frustration)

That drives me bananas. Mor is EASY. Why are they trying to make it more complicated?

On a side note, there's an attorney in our LA office who comes to visit NY a lot. He knows all our voices over the phone. I answer the phone and just say 'Good afternoon' and he says 'Hi Jillian, I need....' But in person?! Forget about it. I almost think he does it to see what he can get away with. My co-worker Trinidad is Tiffany, Veronica (or Ronnie, as we call her) is Romney, I'm pretty just 'hey, you.' and here's the worst one.... my co-worker Yasmin or Yas, who is black, he has named Shaniqua. Or something to that effect. Fortunately, we all have a good laugh about it, but how horrible is that?!

I know the feeling - people have a field day with my name: Eloise... pretty simple (i think) but i get some CRAZY spellings some times.

ye that seems way more logical than Regina as the 1st name

oh and a lot of times ppl call me Regin-ya on the phone
I could seriously murder someone when that happens

ARGGGGG!! That's so annoying!

My very good friend spells her name 'Erica.'

My other friend Heather and Erica have become close, but Heather spells it 'Erika' and even when I write her name with a 'C,' she refuses to acknowledge it and continues to write it with a 'K!'

There are PLENTY of people who spell my name with an E.. as in IrEna.. I HATEEEEEE THAT!!! But it's not THAT bad. This one chick I deal with almost on daily basis.. every e-mail or letter I get from her says

People are always spelling my name as 'Jenn.' I would understand this, if it weren't people that I've known for 20+ years.

Don't even get me started on my last name... I get Marks, Mark, Max, Mary...I understand Marks...close enough to Marx....but Max and Mary!??!?!
