Re: need recipe help!
Pork ChopsI buy the bone in 6 pack at stop & shop (It says Bonus big buy on the package) and use Oven Fry for Pork on them. You can find the oven fry in the baking section next to the shake & bake.
Super easy and fast.
1 box per 3 chops of the Oven Fry (Extra crispy)
The box only coats 3 of these bad boys - they are HUGE
Dip Chop in egg, coat in mixture and put on a cookie sheet covered with tin foil and some olive oil.
Cook for 20-25 minutes on 425 (depending on your oven)
Actual directions are on the box
I usually make this with Velveeta 2% Mac & Cheese Shells (a lil healthier and taste just as good) and string beans with garlic & oil and of course Salad.
Don't forget the Apple Sauce!!!

Chicken Stir Fry with brown rice? The other day I just through cut up chicken breast and a bag of frozen veggies into a wok. I threw in soy sauce, seasme oil, teriyki sauce, hot sauce (like 4-5 drops), garlic powder, onion powder, pepper (no salt since the soy sauce had enough sauce), and adobo and just mixed it together. I just kept tasting it until I liked the way it tasted. DH really liked it.
With chicken and veggies you can make almost anything, quick and easy.
A couple other things I've done recently...wrap some swiss cheese in asparagus, then wrap chicken breast around that. Lightly bread crumb it, put it in a baking pan (not covered), sprinkle some Adobo on it (I put it on EVERYTHING) and cook at 400 degrees for 40 minutes...AWESOME!

Re: need recipe help!
Baked chicken cutlets1. Preheat oven to 375° F (190° C). Grease, generously, a flat baking sheet with canola oil.
2. Set out three shallow pie dishes or deep plates: one with flour, one with beaten egg, one with seasoned bread crumbs.
3. Make sure your boneless, skinless chicken breasts are thin by either slicing them in half or pounding them flatter.
4. Dip the chicken first into flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the egg, shaking off any excess. Finally, dip it into the seasoned bread crumbs.
5. Lay the breaded chicken on the greased baking sheet. Sprinkle some drops of canola oil over each chicken piece.
6. Then bake for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is white in the middle. Bake time depends on the thickness of the chicken.

This sounds really good and easy. Stupid question though...do you have to cook the stuffing first of you it all cooks together while you bake?
AND (sorry I'm new to cooking, only been doing it for about 7 months) you put the chicken, basil, and cheese mix on the bottom and then the stuffing mix on top of that? Can you just mix it all together or will that not taste as good?
I have stuffing mix and I would LOVE to try this!

Re: need recipe help!
Roasted chicken!!It's so easy - get a whole chicken (like the perdue over roasters), plop it on a baking pan, cover it with a smidge of olive oil and salt, pepper, garlic powder, rosemary. Cut up an onion, potatoes and carrots, also toss in a bit of olive oil, salt pepper and put them all around the chicken on the pan.
Cook on 375 for like 2 hours and you're golden!

YES - magically the stuffing cooks with everything else in the oven. So you don't have to do it seperate.
I put the chicken on the bottom then I put the basil, cheese mix and then I top it with the stuffing. The website I pulled that from doesn't really make that clear, sorry.
Just check out the back of a Stove Top box and that's what i followed and it was SUPER easy. They have a couple others on their too that I want to try.

This is what I was going to suggest... or chicken quesedillas with rice on the side. It's just too hot for the oven! But that stove top chicken sounds good and easy. I'll be trying that thank you!
