nightly schedule?

what do you & your DH do every night after work (or on weekends)?

I find that if it's just DH and me (not out with friends), we generally just sit around and watch TV or netflix. Frankly, it gets a bit monotonous (especially when there's nothing good on tv). Yesterday we played a computer game together to try to change it up a bit ... but i can't see us doing that every day!

The weekends really vary for us for during the week our nightly activities include:

homework (we're both in graduate school so one/both of us generally is working on something for a bit of time)

NFL network - year round

The Office - via DVR (we never watched week to week so we just watch what our DVR captures)

Reading the Wall Street Journal - we split up the sections and read together

Dinner - we always eat dinner together unless something comes up for work or with friends, etc

Playtime with Kitten Boy - we play mouse and hide and go seek

We sit around and watch tv, cook dinner, eat in front of the tv (every now and then we eat at the dining room table). That's about it.

This schedule's going to change and I'm going to be by myself cause DH's coaches baseball and when that happens he doesn't get home till like 9 or 10 at night.

DH usualyl plays his video games while I play on the computer or read my book. Sometimes we watch TV together, but nothing has been really catching my interest lately. It definitely gets monontonous though!

DH will play his video games and I will either go on the computer or read till around 7:30. We then will watch Steve Wilkos (we always DVR it) and then watch something on TV or watch a movie till about 10. We go to bed at 10 because we are both up at 5 am for work.

We eat dinner together 6 nights out of the week, then either watch TV together (either DVR or a movie) or I watch TV & am on my laptop & DH is playing a computer game.
Some nights we will visit my parents & sister. When the weather is nice we go out for a walk.

DH doesn't get home until 8:30-9pm most nights and I am relaxing or watching TV by that time. We only get quality time together on the weekends.

Weeknights...we go to the gym twice a week after work. Some nights he'll play guitar in our spare room and I'll read a book or watch television, or do a workout video. Also, I get a lot of tickets to Broadway and off-Broadway shows, so sometimes we both go to see a show or sometimes I'll go alone/with a friend.

Weekends are always something different, but we're consistent in going to the gym on both Saturday and Sunday, provided that neither of us is terribly hungover. We'll go at whatever time is convenient with the plans we have for the day. That means we're there at 8 a.m., or 2 p.m., or 5 p.m....but we always try to go both weekend days. Other than that...we go to bars, watch movies at home, cook something really great....now that it's *almost* warm weather, we'll be doing more outdoor stuff...working on the yard, bar hopping, BBQs with friends...

I go to the gym after work. DH will either play video games, watch TV or go on the computer.

When I get home we have dinner. Then DH watches sports while I go on the computer.

the second we get home he walks the children while i get his lunch and coffee ready for the next day. then i get din din ready while he works in his office

we have din din together after that depending on the time of year we watch a movie or baseball. he usually plays and hour of xbox a night on the weekdays(weekends can be 3-5) sometimes i will stay while i read others i will go upstairs

We eat dinner together every night. Then we either watch a move, our tv shows, play video games, and cuddle on the couch. Its my favorite part of the day! Sometimes we clean, do laundry, run errands, etc.

Get home... i make dinner... we eat... we watch tv... then go to bed...

He has basketball on Tues or Thursdays starting tonight...

Then he will start Softball soon...

DH works til about 11pm most nights...so when we do have nights together, they're our 'date night'.

He's off on Thursdays & Sundays...
Thursdays, we go out for dinner...
Sundays, we spent with family, or at the dog park then watching a movie while dinner cooks on the stove.. it's our big cooking day when we're home.

dh comes home around 4:30 makes a shake and goes to the gym

i usually get out of wok btwn 8-9:30.. i go to the supermarket or if i dont, i come home make dinner and clean up a lil

tv is always on. we dont do anything. by the time i get home im exhausted

During the week? Come home, eat dinner and catch up on our DVR'd shows, then he plays video games and I go online. Then I go to bed and DH continues to stay up and play video games, lol.
