NWQOTD - 2/24/2011
Good Morning ladies!!!!What is 1 thing that you wish you could say to your hubby…but would never say..either because you would hurt his feelings or because you know it would cause a fight?
I'll post my answer later..gotta get to work!

That I absolutely HATE It when he talks on his cell and texts while driving. He thinks because he's such a good driver (and he wont get a ticket b/c he has a badge) he can do it...but it worries me that he'll get distracted and get in an accident.

One of the things for us would be that I do not forgive his mother for the way she treated me in the past (she is pure evil) and that I will probably never love her. oops.A close second is that I really don't like the arroz con gondules that he makes. Its too damn crunchy and it hurts my teeth! He tries sooo hard though, I try not to complain about it in front of him!

I really think he doesn't appreciate all my hard work! Just because I work 3 days a week (I squeeze full time into 3 12.5 hrs shifts) doesn't mean I don't work as hard as you. I am also on my feet for all those hours, this is not a desk job! I have people's lives in my hands, literally. Then I come home and keep the house all clean. I know you 'help' but I don't think I should have to ask you to do some stuff - be proactive! Just put the damn dishes away. Clean the bathroom because it just looks yucky. See those clean clothes all folded? Put them away! They are collecting dust at this point...Vent over! He really is a good DH...

I honestly dont have an answer for this. If I have to tell him something I tell him whether it would hurt his feelings or make him mad. I dont hold back anything for the sake of avoiding an argument, that just makes things worse

I agree. Sometimes I think to myself, 'Oh I won't say anything b/c he'll just get mad,' but I end up saying it anyway. I can't keep anything to myself, mean or not.
We had a huge blowout right before Christmas because I gave him my opinion on getting housewares as an Xmas gift. He thought he was being thoughtful and I completely disagreed. We fought A LOT about that!

ITA. I've told him some pretty harsh truths and he's done the same for me. When we first said them to each other, we were both angry, but we both came to realize that it was something we needed to hear and I respect that he cared enough to say it to me and I to him.

'You have bachelors degree and you're a manager for a paint store, and I will never understand why you can't do better'.I wont say it because the job makes him happy and he does get good benefits, I just wish it was more money.

I've said some pretty awful things to him...some things I didn't even mean, I just wanted to make him angry....so....there is nothing I haven't said to him.

I feel the same way about DH..his BA in polical science..and his job as a banker! I know he can do better...but he loves it. I feel you on this one!
