What is something you must have with your house?

For me, it's a front porch.

A must is a decent back yard - somewhere to teach our kids to throw a baseball/softball.

Backyard!!

I grew up in a house with a bad@ss backyard...tons of grass, an in ground pool...cabana! My mom throws the best warm weather BBQs and this is such a huge part of our 'family culture'....

ITA! I never had that backyard growing up, but I had a good friend who did. Boy did I love going over there. lol!

I have my dream house in Greenport. We dont have waterfront but waterview (across the street from the water) which is great for when we have storms- but I would still add a few things. I would add a Jaccuzzi , inground pool and a wrap around porch. Otherwise its perfect!

We had to have: a big backyard, at least 3 bedrooms, a house that good for entertaining

That house we're buying now has all of that!

It would be a ranch style (DH doesn't want stairs) and it must have a large fenced in yard for the kids.

4+ bedrooms, at least 3 bathrooms, 3 car garage, a HUGE closet for me, island in the kitchen, central air, back porch and a fenced in yard for the doggies!
