Ok, this is really long but MUCH NEEDED PRAYERS...

Sorry but this is going to be REALLY long but my cousin REALLY needs some prayers right now. My cousin is one the closest people I am to in the entire world just this morning I thought to call her and she was crying. I've been trying to not really get into it but LIW prayers work wonders and I'm hoping they can help here. I feel lost since she's in Philly and 2.5 hrs away so the best I can do is ask for some prayers.

She got married to a crazy person this past October. No one really knew what was going on but they were having problems for about 7 months before that. ANYWAY, they ignored the problems and just assumed they were wedding related with the stress of her wedding and mine a month before hers (mine was planned first just so I don't look like I did that on purpose). Well they got married and apparently things just got worse. Towards the end of January the truth finally came out. He has been hitting her for some time now. He was emotionally abusive as well and made at lot of financially threating remarks. She heard from 2 different girls that he was having relationships with them over the computer with VERY inappropriate conversations (when they found out he was with someone they contacted my cousin). One night while she was unpacking his bag, she found condoms in his suitcase from a work trip (he travels a lot for work). Well the relationship went south from there and he was abusive even more. The relationship wasn't over, not even divorce was mentioned at this point but one night when he threated her phyiscally she left and went to a friends house. She ended up having a s*x with this friend and a small relationship (s*x only that one time). Well her now ex-husband had been hacking into her computer and phone and found out about what she had done. She agreed that she was wrong and wanted to move on and do anything her ex wanted to fix it. She offered counseling, he didn't show up. She stopped talking to the friends, etc. 3 weeks into 'trying', on her birthday he tells her 'we're getting a divorce, I don't love you anymore, get out'.

So they go through the whole divorce process and things are good and then he would pull something. Like he would come to the bedroom and ask if she was ok with everything. Then the next day he would answer the door, say 'it's for you' and then she would get served with papers. He was all nice and even ate dinner at her parents house and then the next day goes onto her bank accounts (she changed all her bank info but he still had that hack thing on her computer) and cleans out her bank accounts so she would have no money! Then yesterday they finally reached an agreement. She's been staying at her parents house since her ex doesn't come home and shut off all cable, phone, and internet to punish her (he told her that). She was so happy to reach an agreement yesterday she was singing on the phone. I thought I was going to start crying because she was finally happy. Well I just called her an hour ago and she was crying. She went to the apt to pick up her dog and get some stuff to get away from this crazy and he threated to hit her again and went crazy. She ran out of the apt and called the cops but we're still waiting for them to show up.

I know there are 3 sides to every story but her ex is an a$$hole and I've seen it first hand. I've seen his temper, his crazy, his a$$hole-ness, and his lies (never her get hit though but there are police reports and she spoke to my sister about it). My heart is aching for her and I don't know what to do. Please prayer for her safety, him being locked up, and a happy life for her!!!!

OMG!! So many prayers for your cousin. This story sounds all too familiar. I am so glad she is getting out of there. If she needs to go back to the house again she should have someone come with her.

Many, many, many prayers for your cousin! That situation sounds physically and emotionally destructive and scary!

I really hope she gets the help that she needs. And finds the strength to completely walk away from him FOREVER!

Thanks girls! Cops came and her ex was laughing at the cops. Apparently his lawyer is fed up with him and can't wait for this to be over but he wants to drag it out for 2 years to make my cousins life miserable. So far the prayers worked with the cops being understanding and supportive, I just hope she finds happiness and gets the hell away from him!

Really, thank you so much girls. DH has been great listening to this from me for the past 3 months but I'm starting to lose it myself and I need to stay together for her so to have your support when you have other things going on (and you don't even know me or my cousin) really touches my heart!

I went trew a something very similar( with my ex).....tell her to stay strong and i pray for her and feel extremly bad. Some man are real a$$holes but also tell her that Karma is a b!tch and what comes around goes around. Good luck to her and if she ever want to talk she can FM me....i can really relate to this. I'm sorry again that this is happening to her. for her.
