Re: passport - need help!

I'd probably just go in person to cover all bases...just know that if the government shuts down - and when I last checked the news a few hours ago, it seemed likely - passports are one of the things that will be delayed until everything is back and running properly.

Re: passport - need help!

I would go in person to your town hall. The one in Hempstead was really great. I went after work and I was out in less than half an hour. They helped me with the forms, took my pic and sent them for me.

Ahh good point. Will wait to see what the status is. I also feel like in person is my best bet since I had to go to the DMV FOUR times to get my new license!

Laura- check online to see it has been processed yet. Maybe since they know about the shutdown they started processing them. (Maybe)
