QOTD Sept 4

So we have a guest in town this weekend and we did something fun and touristy yesterday.....that I have never done!

We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge and got pizza at Grimaldi's. Yum yum yum!

It turned out that Barilla Pasta was doing a promo there for their upcoming pasta festival in Central Park....and the first 5 people to check into this stop when it showed up on 4 Square won VIP tickets to their (they are sponsoring it) Andrea Bocelli concert (sold out!) in Central Park. With dinner and drink service! And we won them!

Soooo, I had a fun story to tell of my touristy day.

So, what is your favorite touristy NY thing to do...or what is touristy here that you have never done, but you want to?

Two years ago DH went to NYC and just walked around Time Square like tourists! We went to the M&M store, took pictures, bought stupid stuff from street vendors. It was so much fun!

I have been to the statue of liberty and Ellis Island but DH hasn't. I'll have to take him one day I think he'd love it.

I absolutely LOVE going to the Museum of Natural History! My favorite, now and growing up, is the room with the big whale hanging from the ceiling!

I love doing a broadway show and dinner, this year we went to Ellens stardust cafe!

I also love going to see the tree during Christmas :)

Congrats on the concert!!!!

I love walking through times square or central park!! DH loves the museum of natural history. The last touristy thing I did was go to MOMA with my mom for the day...so much fun!!!
