Question about Proofs

Did you guys call the photographer to find out about your proofs or did they call you to let you know they were ready?

Question about Proofs

Our photographer is an independant, not with a studio. Since we're in Boston, I sent him an e-mail asking him to let us know when he had them, and we'd plan to coordinate a trip to NY to pick them up rather than have them shipped to us. He called us last Friday - just short of 3 weeks from the wedding. We had it in our contract that the proofs would be ready 4 weeks from the wedding date. I'd suggest that if they haven't called you in 3-4 weeks then give them a call to ask when you can expect them! I'm sure they are used to dealing with impatient brides!!!
