Quick name change question

Are there any fees associated with changing your name on your drivers license or ss card? Im going monday and dont want to be surprised. Also, i wanna keep my license wkth my maoden name even though it expires on my bday next month. Can i just go i to the dmv on monday and tell them i lost my license sp i can keep both? Or does that just make things more complicated?

I kept my old license with my maiden name. they didnt ask for it.

it costs money to get the new one tho, i dont remember how much
