Restaurant Inspection Grades

I have noticed that alot of the restaurants/delis around my job have grade pending, so I have decided to look up a whole bunch of different ones. The chinese place I go to got an A rating but I looked them up anyway. It said evidence of Mice and rodents in food How is this getting a A rating?
I always said I wouldnt eat at a place that had less than an A rating. I dont think I am going to eat anywhere except my own kitchen from now on!!

FYI - there are rodents at EVERY food establishment. It comes with the territory.

My dad used to own a restaurant in Jersey City right on the water. One day my sister saw a rat run right through the bar area. It wasn't that the restaurant wasn't clean, but it was right on the water, and there was a ton of construction going on. It was inevitable. Thank god none of the customers saw it though

ITA. No matter how clean it is. It's about keeping them away from food storage/prep areas and making sure all cooking surfaces are clean.

I also heard that a lot of these restaurants bribed the inspectors so they got a higher grade.

I understand about the mice and insects in the restaurants. Its when its in my food that bothers me. I am sure that they bribe the inspectors but why would they put what they found on the website.
It just totally disgusted me.
