On my family cruise, my BIL got drunk and did some karaoke, which I filmed. I put it on youtube to share with friends and family.

I received this message a week ago from user name Jkfarnsworth3:

Thanks so much for posting those wonderful performaces by your brother in law. I run a small (but profitable!) talent agency and he seems to have the look (and sound) we have been searching for to fill a minor speaking role in an upcoming George Clooney vehicle tentatively titled 'Special Ed(ward)'. I would be eternally grateful if you would be so kind as to put me in touch with your brother in law so that I may schedule an interview with him. Thank you and I look forward to meeting your brother in law (and you!).

I laughed. Right away, I felt this was not real, pondered it, and google the name of the agency. There is no website; not even a listing. I call my SIL and she thinks my other BIL has something to do with it. I call the other SIL and she thinks it's real, and said BIL didn't even know you can message on youtube. I ignore it, totally still thinking it's a scam, and if it's not, then (sorry!). lol.....

Just this afternoon, I received this from the same user:

'Ms. Cozza,
I am extremely disappointed and disturbed that I have not heard back from you. I hope the reason is that you don't use Youtube that often. My fear, though, is that you may be freezing me out while you're busy shopping your brother in law's talents elsewhere. Please know that I have not gotten this far in this cut-throat business by rolling over and playing dead when met with hardball tactics. I will not stand by and see a potential client stolen out from under my nose. I promised George Clooney personally that I would deliver your brother in law. I will not let you (or anyone) make a lair out of me. When I showed George your brother in law's reel, he was delighted and said he thought your brother in law would be perfect for Special Ed(ward). In fact, George said that your brother in law reminded him of a young W. Earl Brown. If I do not hear back from you within 72 hours, I will be forced to take matters into my own hands and attempt to contact your brother in law directly. We have private investigators on staff and I don't think it would take long for them to locate him. I'd rather not go that route, but you seem to be forcing my hand. I am not threatening you - simply telling you what my next move will be if you continue to play games. I hope to hear from you ASAP.

I nearly peed my pants! I am now convinced it's my older BIL - he's known to pull pranks, and hasn't gotten me yet. I mean seriously, and agency can't really do this to someone - especially if I never responded in the first place.


and mind you, I got these during normal work hours from people who make over a million a year - this is what they do in there spare time.

DH's older brother and his colleagues apparently do things like this. They go to great lengths and it gets pretty bad. I've been watching my back, I knew I was due for a prank. LOL.
