Something fun

What's something fun for DH & I to do today either on Long Island, in Queens, or maybeee Westchester?

oooohhh check to see if there are any events going on today at the Farm at Stone Barns.

They have a restaurant that is KILLER - like one of THE most amazing meals I have ever eaten (DH took me there for my birthday 2 years ago). disclaimer - it is extraordinarily expensive but the meal of a lifetime. (you look at a loooooong list of ingredients and you tell your server what you absolutely do not want and then the executive chef prepares a 7 course meal).

Anyhow, beyond the restaurant, they have events at the farm (sometimes wine/beer tastings, etc)

White Plains is also a great little 'city' - you could go to the Ritz in the center of the city and have drinks on the 42nd floor! You can actually see the city from there!
