sorta stupid taxes question

Do i need to bring my 401k papers with me? I never get any 'tax specific' paperwork from there ... Every other year, i've brought in my most recent statement from them, but do i actually need to bring that (i'm feeling lazy and don't want to search through my papers lol)

How about the Social Security statement?

As far as social security statement, no - unless you are collecting social security.

As far as 401-k, I'd bring it just in case.

they would send you something if there was anything that was related to taxes...

you can go to your 401k online and see if there are any tax documents related to your account....

i dont see why you should bring ss unless you were somehow able to collect ss early... but again you should have recieved a form in the mail
