Re: spinoff to laura's post RE shoes

We don't wear shoes in the house, so the ones we use most often are kept on a little shoe rack thing in the hallway outside of our apartment.

The ones that we don't use as regularly are kept in a rolling bin thingy under the bed.

Re: spinoff to laura's post RE shoes

mine are pretty much thrown in the bottom of the closet in a little shoe mountain ...

i have some in boxes ... but the boxed shoes aren't necessarily the most expensive ... it's weird.

oh, i also have a shoe hanger (it attaches over the closet door and you stick shoes in it) ... so i have a few pairs of shoes in that.

Re: spinoff to laura's post RE shoes

Ours are thrown in either the hall closet right by the front door or our bedroom closet.

I want to convert to a 'no shoes inside' apartment bc I am getting increasingly skeeved out. I spend all day in and out of ICUs, hospital sub-basements, etc etc. I don't want any of that tracking into my apartment!

Re: spinoff to laura's post RE shoes

I have such limited space in our condo. I keep about 25 pairs in my closet (some are piled up in boxes, othera re in a large rubbermaid)....6 pairs of sneakers in the hallway shoe rack....2 pairs of boots under the bed...and all my summer flip floppy shoes and sandals are in our storage unit. I CANNOT wait to have a normal sized closet!

Re: spinoff to laura's post RE shoes

We have a walk-in-closet in our bedroom. On the floor I have a two three-tier expandable shoe racks that hold about 24 pairs of shoes each. One is mine, one is DH's.

Then along all three walls of the closet there is a shelf, that I have boxes of shoes, stacked 4 boxes high along the width of the two long shelves. I'll try to take a pic when I go home, lol.

I have a shoe rack thing on the floor of my closet, an over the door hanging thing for my sneakers, boots in front closet, and basically all my heels under my desk at work.
