Spinoff to my own poll
because I forgot to ask..where do you ladies buy show tickets from?
I always buy from ticketmaster but always spend like $30 in fees.
Just wondering if there was a better way.

Re: Spinoff to my own poll
Buying at the box office sometimes means you don't pay the service charges (depending on the theater) - but that means you have to trek to the theater's box office, and if you don't live/work near the theater district, that's a PITA.TKTS booth for discount tickets on the same day of a show. So you can't go with something specific in mind, because it's really only the unsold tickets for the same day that are at the booth.
You can look online for discount codes. Google the show's name and the term 'discount code'. Sites will come up with info about when you can use the discounts and how to use them.
Sign up for theatermania.com's e-newsletter. They offer discount codes as well. It's free to join.
(Can you tell I work in the Broadway ticketing industry?
)

haha this is great.
Thank you! I'm never in the city so purchasing that day or at the box office is not really financially better for me than buying them online (it would cost me a ton in travel - I'm in eastern suffolk).
But thank you for the suggestions.. I'm going to sign up for that website.
