I just finished A Thousand Splendid Suns which I ended up really enjoying but it got INTENSE at times! (Takes place in war-stricken Afghanistan between 70-mid 2000s)...

So, I just bought Something Borrowed as a quick, light, girlie read...and I gotta say....

I am a bit appalled right off the bat. How do you just sleep with your best friend's fiance by accident? I'm about 5 chapters in so I 'get' some of the background....but still....the whole story line makes me wanna stop reading altogether. And I just may!

OMG! I'm glad you said it! SIL gave this to me right after I got engaged and I was turned off straight away. I kept reading it and it really is a GOOD read, but yeah- all sorts of effed up. Made me watch my MOH! I kid, I kid.

I know I should just settle it down and zip the lip....but I was thrown for a loop

I wanna finish up so I can go watch a daytime work day solo movie while it is still in theatres. My main reason to go is because I love Jim from the office...he is in it, right??? Who does he play!?
