St. Paddy's Story

On my way to work St. Paddy's Day morning, my car died. I had to leave work early in a tow truck and that being said, I started drinking at 1 with my Irish folk...

I can honestly say I was the only person in the bar that WAS NOT of Irish decent. But I rocked a huge shamrock hat, shamrock tattos on my face, etc. Some old man, that resembled Leslie Nielson turned to me and said, 'Ever since you walked in, I've been checking for my wallet' I was a victim of racism... So I laughed and walked away. He came back up to me and said, in case I feel like grabbing his wallet, he moved it into the front pocket. So basically, I think this man wanted me to feel his beans. Although I should felt offended, I walked around screaming, 'STILL GOT IT!!!!' After riding in a tow truck with a man that told me about the 2 years he spent in jail, the old man trying to make me grab his beans was welcoming.

Ahhhhhhhhh, I love St. Patricks Day!!!

St. Joseph's Day is tomorrow!!! WOOT WOOT!!!

Re: St. Paddy's Story

He only wanted you to touch his beans, and not his frank, since he probably had a wee little Irish pud.

Crazy old man!

And ohh fark, I forgot about St. Joseph's Day. I need me some pastries!

How the eff is that pronounced anyway?

I just point and grunt, like I do whenever there is a tray of food in front of me. Just wait til Sunday, man.

If you were treated like a second class citizen at a bar on St. Patrick's Day, imagine what my DH was treated like yesterday when we went out!

Than I had two of my PR friends come meet me.... My friends Aunt says, one of my nieces married a puerto rican...you two look exactly alike... I almost peed myself.

ETA: Neel is much more charming than me...I'm a jerky slob with zero tolerance for ignorant a$$holes.

Re: St. Paddy's Story

It's pronounced exactly the way it is spelled, but you can say...St Joseph's pastires...They know what you are talking about...Grunting works too...
