Today was my lucky day!

SO about a month ago, my boss told everyone in my department (about 8 of us) to block out our calendars for today, June 13th... we were going to have a 'team activity'

On Friday, we were told to report to a yoga place this morning and we would be doing an aromatherapy yoga session! So I showed up this morning, did the hour-long yoga session... so relaxing and enjoyable. And the next thing you know, our boss says 'Ok everyone, great start to the day. Go out and enjoy yourselves - you have the day off!'



How awesome is that?! Me and a coworker went for mani/pedis after and then I got to go food shopping and veg out for the rest of the day.

I wish every Monday started this way

wow, that sounds great!

i hate yoga but i'd trade that for real work any day!

It was such a great surprise. I've never done ANY kind of yoga before - it was definitely tough! But I put myself in the relaxed mindset and got on board with it. I vote for four day work weeks for all!
