Toilet Paper

Random...but..do you and DH's fight about which is the correct way to position the toilet paper?

not really fight..but...you know...

i feel and always have that the toilet paper should face down. HOWEVER, and it pains me to even say this, but in our new home, there is so little spance between the toilet paper holder on the wall and the toilet itself that it has to face up!!! ARGH!!!!!!!

and how about the toothpaste bottle...when its running low, do you squeeze or fold the bottle?

We don't argue over this stuff, because he doesn't do it. I don't think in his 33 years of living he has EVER changed the toilet paper roll... So since I change it, it is always facing the way I want...

i was lucky in that we both feel the same way about which direction the TP roll should face

i never paid attention to this but i always do it TP up. is that wrong? hahah i have no idea!

and we both squeeze the toothpaste. i hate rolling it.

I dont think it matters to DH how its on the roll as long as there is some there

Actually we have our off the roll right now and on the back of the tank because the dog keeps ripping it up

Toothpaste i roll it and he squeezes it. We both use different brands.

Word. Though, I didn't used to be particular about my TP. Now I am, thanks to this site. But all of you say it should go over, and I maintain that it's easier for me to grab when it's under.

i thought i was the only one who liked it better under! yay!
A few years ago, on the travel channel, there was a whole vacation special and they were interviewing some 5 star hotel somewhere and they actually asked the concierge if there was a 'correct' way to place the TP and they said it should face down, not up.
i was laughing so hard! never knew they had studies about this!
