we're doing photo cards. who gets a thank you?

- guests that attended and gave gifts (obv)
- guests that did not attend but sent $
- vendors

i know i had guests that didnt bring anything
should i send them a TY card? the crappy part is that i dont remember which guests didnt give gifts ( i had a few.. just forgot who they were!) ??!

ooh what abt the cheapo guests? like the woman that gave us $35.... and insisted that we invite her 18 yo daughter (WHO ENDED UP NOT COMING.... UGHGUGUGHGGUHG)

Re: TY Cards

Do you still have all your cards? We wrote what the person gave inside the card. Then I put them onto a spreadsheet.

Re: TY Cards

yes - you're supposed to send TYs to people who came but didn't give a gift or card ... but I didn't do it (unless they traveled from far).

i also didn't write TYs to vendors ... i paid them and tipped them and that's enough.

as for the cheapo guest, you should still write her a TY ... the way i see it, it's the thought that counts (even if it's an obnoxiously cheap thought)

Re: TY Cards

i didnt do TYs to vendors. I meant to do a few but never got around to it. I definitely would send ones to those who didnt give gifts or bad ones. Thank them for coming. You invited them to the wedding without the obligation to give a gift.

Re: TY Cards

All guests should get a thank-you, regardless of their gift (or lack thereof).

Vendors...you could send them if you want to, but it's not necessary.
