VALERIE --- BOSTON INFO HERE

Okay - so I spoke to my twin sister who lives in Boston and a good friend of hers - we were just on a conference call brainstorming for your trip ..

You want to stay in the Back Bay area (Copley) .. Dont stay in the Fanuiel Hall area - its way too touristy.

In Back Bay you have a few options as far as hotels .. If money isnt an issue stay at the new Mandarin - they said its awesome. Other good choices would be the Fairmont, the Westin, Sheraton Back Bay, Copley Marriot. Theres also a B&B on Newberry St but that can get pricey too.

Back Bay has a ton of trendy restaurants, lounges, shopping (on Newberry Street).

Restaurants and Bars ---

Towne - food is just okay but it has a great bar scene Thrs-Saturday.

Abe and Louie's is a great steakhouse (Ive been there - its good if youre a meat eater)

Scampo - this restaurant is amazing. Its not in the Back Bay area, its like a 15 minute cab ride at the Liberty Hotel. But if you go there you can make a night of it because upstairs is a bar called Clink and downstairs is a lounge called Allibi that they said is really fun.

If you want anymore info let me know

Re: VALERIE --- BOSTON INFO HERE

I stayed by Fanuiel Hall at the Omni Parker House and loved it! I thought it was so central to everything we wanted to see, except the green Monster, which we just stopped at on our way out of the city. We walked everywhere within 15 minutes - the aquarium, the North End, Newbury Street. I actually loved The Parker House so much a wrote a raving review on Tripadvisor.com. And The restaurant in The Parker House is the home of the Boston cream pie, Parker house rolls, and scrod!
It's a 3 minute walk to Sam Lagrassa's - the best deli in Boston. I forget which sandwich I had, but it was amazing!!! Perfect lunch after we had arrived. And don't forget to have a cannoli at Mike's in the North End. I'm not even crazy about cannoli's, but this thing was amazing!!!
The aquarium was perfect on our rain afternoon, followed by a Duck Boat tour.
