welcome home meal

dh gets home from chicago tomorrow night (only until sunday night ) and I'd like to make him a nice meal since he's been eating out for work for bfast lunch and dinner the whole week.

someone made short ribs in the slow coooker but I can't remember who...??

i'd love to use the slowcooker bc I cleaned the kitchen this week. dh thinks i'm really wild in the kitchen bc I use 48 bowls/pans/pots/utensils regardless of what I'm making so i'd really like to avoid that scene.

please send recipes my way!

tia!

eta: way more sensitive and pc

Re: welcome home meal

short ribs in the slow cooker are amazing. ive made them, had them at multiple restaurants. LOVE.

just throw them in with a little BBQ sauce or some kind of broth/gravy/some kind of liquid? i think the lesson is you dont need a lot of liquid so it can cook it its own juices too.

make some mashy p's or sweet potato side and some spinach, kale, green leafy veg and it is a perfect combo.
