What are you doing for New Years Eve?

I am looking for ideas because personally I do not want to deal with dh friends that have yet to grow up (they are 30+ and still smoke pot, dating eachother ex and almost seem cult like :(). I used to go to country clubs with my ex fiance but dh isnt up for this idea unless we know someone to sit with. Any ideas??????

spending NYE with DH's family - we're a big bunch and always have a great time. then New Year's Day we are with my family.

Its funny because in recent years, i get so tired and just want to go to sleep before midnight - and i see all the kids so anxious to be able to stay up that late because they nornmally don't.

right now the plan is to go rent a house in VT for 3-4 nights. There's supposed to be a bar in town where we plan on celebrating NYE.

I was thinking about a New Year's Eve cruise dinner around NYC. Can't really plan because not sure if DH is working or not.

I am having a debate...

Girls help me...

Usually I always spend it with my Paretns....
Even with Hubby (when he was fiancee n bouyfreind) we always spent it with my Fam...

This year Hubby wants us to go have dinner with my parents and leave at 9pm to go to a club at NYC or a RH...
I know it is ok to do it but i guess it just feels WEIRD to not spend it with my parents...

I did it ONCE with my Xboyfreind.. i went to NYC and I was crying cuz i was away lol.. i felt SO weird being away from my parents on such a special day...

I told DH we will see what to do...
I am just not 100% sure now...
I want to spend it with DH but i still feel DEEP down i wanna be with my parents...

I know i know Im a married woman.. i know,....
But I guess it just so weird to be away...

SO I DUNNO WAT TO DO

We will be celebrating the New Year in IRELANDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!! We are not sure of the plans yet, but I know we will br drinking TONS!!

19 days until our 2nd honeymoon.... WOO HOO!!

We're going to VT as well with two other couples and staying the Equinox resort right outside of Stratton! Definitely doing some skiing and we're looking into places to go in the area to ring in the new year. A lot of hotels and restaurants in the area have prix fixe deals so I'm excited!
