Re: What is with all the linen????

Alina If I wore anything see thru (even with something underneath) or any spagetti strap dress - I think my coworkers would die!

The day of the LIW GTG, I wore those calf leather boots and a knee length skirt...and you would not believe the looks I got!

Re: What is with all the linen????

Shamma - I love those shelf bra tanks tops. I live in them and wear them under everything (or by themselves). When I actually have to put on a bra, I'm sad

Re: What is with all the linen????

That's so weird. Stef, are you guys officially business attire or business casual? Sounds like an uptight environment I liked how you were dressed for the GTG in January. Here, I have actually gotten compliments in the ladies room on my more casual clothing, from random strangers who don't work in my group.

Re: What is with all the linen????

Shamma: those shelf bra things are great! I wear them with my button down shirts b/c my boobs are always a tad too big to button around - so I have to leave them open a bit. I still wear a bra with them but they look really nice underneath.

Alina: I work in a pretty uptight place. We are not officially business casual but most people just went that way. If you are having a business meeting with a client or with very senior mgmt, you have to wear a suit. Our CEO is known for questioning people in teh elevator about their attire :D

I work with 99% men, so pretty much anything even moderately different raises eyebrows.

Re: What is with all the linen????

Stef, I dress like you did in Jan at at the GTG all the time, I think its sexy if you ask me. I could not work for your company, they would hate me WOw they seem really stiff there.

My GF wears hers with a bra too, I never do, I guess there are some perks to having little titi I love them alone or under something.

Stef, I guess I was surprised at that b/c we work in similar type of companies... But I guess the environment is very very different.

Re: What is with all the linen????

I 'm probably one of the few to view linen as a very rich fabric (depending on the quality.) I don't know if I would wear it to work, but it looks great for casual outtings: boating, dinner on the water, etc.. It's comortable, but yet elegent. If it's a better quality fabric, it will drape beautifully. It also ages well, unlike cotton and silk.

No, stef. Linen is made from a different flower (perhaps flax)
