I just called two limo companies to confirm pricing information for a wine tour for my bday.... here are my conversations:

Company 1:

Me: I recently called for information about a 30 person wine tour. I'd like some information on a 16 person wine tour.

Person: (NASTILY): You're calling a limo company.

Me: Yes... I know...don't you do wine tours?

Person: Oh, yes.

Company 2:

Background: Apparently, I could book at $115, and if we get to the winery and they 'find out' that it costs more, they could charge us on the spot...people do packaged wine tours, so I don't really like this concept.

Me: So if I book at $115, when would I find out if the price is changing?

Person: (NASTILY): Well when we get there, if the price has changed, I'm charging YOU. If it doesn't, I don't charge you.

Guess what limo companies? I'm not booking with either of you due to your rude customer service!

I had two really good wine tours with Serenity Limo. Maybe try them?

Wow...with their customer service they must need to fight people off who are looking for a limo

Cuz you know the economy is just so great and everything people are lining up for limos and wine tours.

I work in customer service - as in, it's my job to coach people on how to give BETTER service and it amazes me at how many people just cannot for the life of them give some common courtesy, respect and friendliness. it's baffling.... but i wouldn't use either company either. i blacklist companies who are rude.

Sorry jen, that sounds wildly frustrating and annoying.

It HONESTLY blows my mind how people in service-based industry cannot grasp the basics of service. Unreal!

Def don't use those options!
