When does the wedding-show obsession end?

When does the wedding-show obsession end?

Instead of doing things around the house yesterday, I got caught up in watching the 'Sweet Wedding' special with one of the sisters from DC cupcakes

And I can never turn SYTTD off!

Although now I get a pang of sadness when I watch these things too

When will I be able to stop watching wedding shows?? has anyone stopped cold turkey after the wedding?

never. I still watch bridezilla and SYTTD. I cant help it! I do make more comments, like 'i cant believe that girl spent $24,000 on a dress, that was definitely not in my budget' instead of my pre-wedding 'I wish I had $24,000 to spend on a dress!'

I don't think I've watched any since the wedding. Instead, I've been watching Extreme Couponing, True Life, Locked Up andddddddd Teen Mom is coming back in 3 weeks!!!

I so agree! I loved both of her dresses....and I thought she was so cool in not freaking out that her dress didn't fit (although, I did notice that it wasn't zipped all the way...but it's not that big of a deal.)

I loved her hair too! I just like her--she's pretty funny I enjoyed that more than the Kim K special--it seemed more real (and now we know why!)

I so agree! I loved both of her dresses....and I thought she was so cool in not freaking out that her dress didn't fit (although, I did notice that it wasn't zipped all the way...but it's not that big of a deal.)

I loved her hair too! I just like her--she's pretty funny I enjoyed that more than the Kim K special--it seemed more real (and now we know why!)


100%. Her 2nd dress was so sexy.

i still watch My Fair Wedding and SYTTD - and i feel a pang of sadness too now that my wedding is all over!

I don't think ever. I watched SYTTD long before I even met DH (althoug he doesn't believe me) and I don't think I'll ever stop . DH keeps asking why 'we' still have to watch, now that the wedding is over. For me, watching that show had nothing (or at least little) to do with planning my own wedding - I think its something I will always be obsessed about (And now its kind of bitter sweet - glad I don't have the stress and anxiety anymore, but missing the fun parts of planning, too. And wanting to wear my dress again )

Is this teen mom 1 or 2? Those chicks from teen mom 1 are such a hot mess. I heard one went back to jail! I keep thinking 'what are they going to say to their kids when they old enough to watch shows?

I heard Leah cheated on her husband Corey - you know the real redneck ones and that's why they divorced......... after 6 months. WOW.

Can't wait for Teen Mom 2.

oh and I still watch SYTTD and I can't stand watching My Fair Wedding - David Tutera creeps me out.

I still watch My Fair Wedding, SYTTD and bridezillas. Not all the time but if I see it on tv I leave it on, lol.
