Yes Id be very pissed. Is there a way to have her change with you? Have you said anything to her? Thats very selfish and unthoughtful of her.

Re: Would you be pissed...
I'd *hope* that they had something important to attend and weren't doing it to be spiteful.
But I'd also totally eff with them anyway. Like...throw out their lunch from the communal fridge or something.
And call their phone from my cell (if they don't have caller ID on their office phone) and give them a bunch of hangups, especially if they were on the other line on a personal call. Not that I ever, ever resort to these kinds of things.

Thank you, I needed that.Nope, nothing important. Just too much vacation time. They could take off ANY SINGLE DAY but they chose those two.
Yupp, I said something, but I don't expect her to change it. She also effed us over this past week by taking off Thursday and Friday even though she knew that it would mean everyone would have to take 1/2 hour lunches, come in early, stay late, and miss the staff party. But why should that matter to her?

I'd be disappointed, but I doubt your wedding anniversary is really the first thing that came to her mind when she put in for her vacation. I wouldn't expect any of my co-workers not to put in for time off just because it's MY anniversary

I considered making her a bridesmaid. We sit together everyday for 7 hours a day- she practically planned my wedding with me. I paid through the nose for all of her kids to come to the wedding just for her and her husband to decide to leave them home the day of the party. I guess it's not just this. She's just so inconsiderate in general. And I really try to push that aside and just work with her, but the more I know her, the less I like her.
