WWYD - DH's bday...

Ok - so DH is turning 50 next month... I originally tried to surprise him with a short Bermuda cruise for his birthday (Mom spoiled that).. and he's said that he didn't to do a cruise so close to our HM (we went in Jan.. Cruise was May).

He didn't want a party or anything like that... and finally decided on a night in the city..So, I got tickets to RAIN, and we're going to have a nice dinner and spend the night at the Marriott Marquis.

My first thought for a gift is to get him a #12 Jets Jersey... He's always wanted one and I thought this would be a good time to get it for him..

But - I can also get us a fantastic deal at Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica for 4 nights..... He loves that resort, and if I book for Nov (near our anniversary) it can be kind of a double celebration.

While we did take our HM in Jan.. our only other 'vacation' planned is time upstate for a week (which we love)... and I'm thinking something else to look forward to would be nice.

What to do??

I would do the city thing and get the jersey. The Sandals vacation in November would be pretty far from his birthday. Why dont you just keep that as your 1 yr anniversary vacation.

I agree with Celia- do the jersey and the city.

The Sandals can be a one year anniversary trip!
