XPOST Gift Help!!
I'm going to a 30th birthday in 2 weeks and I was going to give them cash, but then they asked for cash and since I think that's super tacky, I won't give it to them now. Only problem is, I have NO CLUE what to get them. I need suggestions!!!

A guide to proper etiquette?GC to something like Target or Macy's?
Or just give them cash, but less than what you intended to really give initally.
