I look for invites and can't find anything I like. So, a cousin is making a sample for me to see if I like Problem is - she doesn't have it yet and I'm worried it's going to take awhile. Aghhhh!!

This week I am in full wedding mode, taking care of as many details as I can. Next week I have my second fitting.

I've seen invites I like but the total cost (with calligraphy) comes to like 600 dollars. Is that the average price? I was hoping to spend like 300-400 total. Who is doing the adressing on all of your invites?

Danielle I worked with a lady in Shoreham and she had an awesome amount of different invitations that I had not seen before. If you want her info let me know.

I think we spent 500 for invites and match boxes engraved for mints. I think I am doing the address for the invites. That was my goal this week and you can see what I am doing instead--lol

I'm off today and getting a lot done. I got all the supplies to make my flowergirl basket, I bought the votive holders for the centerpieces, and also some other detail-stuff. I also spent the whole night last night writing my shower thank yous. Next big thing is to schedule our engagement portraits! We're picking our menu in two weeks. But I'm oddly happy and relaxed....

After my shower, my mood and stress level really seemed to improve.

I got my invitations from Renaissance Writings at www.renaissancewritings.com. Once the order was placed they had them to me in a week, and they got the envelopes to me sooner to send to the calligrapher. They were cheaper for the exact same invitations as two other places too. I worked with becky and she was great. Don't stress! My sister-in-law who planned her wedding in 2 years kept wanting to die everytime I told her in January that all we'd done was book the place...but I've done a lot, and it can be done. If you need more last minute advice..I'll tell you what I've got (and I might ask you for some too 'cause I'm still working on some things!)

I got my invites (100 of them) for under $500 and they were really nice (and fast). I got them from Renaissance Writings at www.renaissancewritings.com
You pay $10 for a sample, and then they take the money off if you order. I wouldn't normally have done it, but they were offering the exact invites I wanted at two thirds of the cost of another place. Plus, they're environmentally friendly papers....and they're beautiful.

Very possible. He helped us a lot with our planning. He helped us with the rehersal dinner and advice on many other things!
