Hi Date Twin!

I still feel like I have so much to do! We got the major vendors squared away (hall, florist, dj, photo/video), and have taken a break for a little bit.

Now that our e-party is over, I'm feeling like its time to get moving again ... and FH is feeling like its time to watch football (sunday is my only day off from work!).

I haven't even started looking for my dress ... or a dress for anyone else for that matter ... gonna do that in the next couple of weeks. (don't need FH for that!)

Hoping to figure out our officiants this week too ...

No, IMO you are right on schedule you booked the two most important elements the ceremony and reception locations. . . within the next six months I would pace myself and book the remaining major vendors. We have about 10 months to go and we still have two major vendors to book and I feel no pressure because we are right on schedule!

We are in the same boat-but we have our officiant and DJ appointments booked for this month and we are starting to look at photogrpahers.

Not that I recommend this - but one of my coworkers got engaged and married in 4 months this summer and had a lot of great vendors!

ok, i feel a little better knowing im not alone, but i do want to ge tthe ball rolling..............i def want to see every vendor out there!!!!

i would love to have everything booked and then only worry about making the payments!!!!!!

hey girl, no worries...you'll be okay. i got engaged 11/12/05 and am getting married 11/18/06...so I had just about a year. But I had the same worries you are having now. My goal was to book my photo/video and dj before the end of 2005. When I did that....it made me feel a lot better. I bought my gown in late March, booked florist in April, transportation in May, hair/makeup in August.

No! You're in good shape as long as you start now! I found the big vendors, like the band and photographer, and I am going to get one price for florist this weekend. I'm taking my time too because I don't want to be all stressed out with this stuff.

I dont think so-I booked most of mine this past september...which was around our9-10 month mark...and I am still booking vendors and its less then 7 months!!!

I think if there are vendors you REALLY want to use I would book them ASAP to make sure you dont lose your date

You have some time!!!!!!

Don't wait too long b/c then things that you REALLY want will be booked like band/DJ or photographer

Don't worry. I am a 7/7/07 bride and everyone warned me that the date is sooooo popular. I didn't have anyone turn me down yet for my date and I haven't made any contracts except for location, dj & officiant. You have plenty of time. But, I would make some major decisions by 2/1/07 at least. Good luck.

Everything will be fine but I would start booking at least those big vendors if for nothing else just to get them out of the way so you know you have them and you don't have to sacrifice who/what you want because your date is already booked.

youre not in serious trouble, but definatly dont hesitate on making appts and BOOKING asap!! i had all vendors booked by sept. and the wedding is july... Only thing i DONT have done is the BM dresses but thats up to THEM to get fitted [half of them are pushing it off to lose weight ]
