Re: an '05er here... sorry for the intrusion but I have a question for you

Since we won't be living on Long Island and I don't want us to sleep in my twin bed at home, yes, we are staying in the hotel.

My mom can't believe that we want to stay at the same hotel (Wingate) that our guests are in, but we are having an after-party and want to eat with everyone the next day.

If you were getting up SUPER early for a flight the next day, I would just go home.

But, otherwise, I think I would be sad that there was fun happening at the hotel and I'd be missing it. I want to soak in as much 'BRIDE and GROOM' day that I can!

we are, with everyone else that wants to, to continue the party.

do whatever you want to do. if you want your own bed, dive right in.

it'll give you a nice excuse to splurge on some new fabulous sheets (if you don't have...or even if you DO)

ENJOY your first night at husband and wife!

We are staying at a hotel because 'home' is in Westchester and because we're flying out of JFK the morning after the wedding.

Not sure if we're staying at home or at a hotel closer to the airport, that'll be decided when we book the HM. All we know is that we want to be alone on our wedding night, the reception is for the guests after that we'll have our own private party!!

Re: an '05er here... sorry for the intrusion but I have a question for you

We are staying in the hotel right where we are having the reception...

My FIL's went home after their wedding and FMIL said that is the one thing she wishes she would of not done.... She thinks it would have just felt more special to stay somewhere else...

But we all different ideas on how we want our own weddings to go, so it depends on how important this is to you...

Re: an '05er here... sorry for the intrusion but I have a question for you

We are staying at a hotel. My FH's house is going to have stuff all around from days of getting stuff together from packing to moving my stuff in (we don't live together yet...my parents are strict and I abide by their rules). So I just want to relax and not have to worry about anything, so we are staying in a hotel.

We live in LA so we will be staying at the hotel for a week.
A week in the bridal suite, woo-hoo.

Re: an '05er here... sorry for the intrusion but I have a question for you

We live in Seattle, so our choices are to stay at the hotel on the big night, or to stay at my parents' in the room between my parents and my brother and SIL.

We picked the hotel.
