I am a 2011 bride!! haha seems so far away but will be here before we know it!..We looked at, East Wind, Majestic Gardens, Miller Place Inn before booking Villa Lombardi's. It is great if you can book now because you get that price locked in before it goes up as everything will do. Villa Lombardi's gave us the most for our money & we know the food is amazing!...& to think it was my dream place & almost did not even look there becasue I didnt want to torture mysefl!!! Haha!!

I'm starting to look at Catering Halls, can anyone tell me about the Watermill (only one so far I've visited ), Bridgeview Country Club, North Ritz Club, and Crest Hollow Country Club?

Date we are looking to book 10-30-2011

We went to the Westbury Manor-LOVED it

This weekend we are going to see:
The Vanderbuilt @ Dowling (lessings)
The Old Field Club
The Inn at New Hyde Park
De Servsky Center

Anyone have any positives/negatives to any of these places?

Any annd alllll help is always appreciated!!!

north ritz is nice huge room and i totally love the bar it was one of my top 4 places but it wasnt me,,, good thing is 1 wedding at a time... and huge dance floor lol not bad price wise they quoted me a friday night in may or june $90a person n i negoiated and got free v hr!! but went with Westbury Manor

We just set a date for our wedding, 1/14/2011 with Westbury Manor. We wanted a small intimate setting. We looked at Jericho Terrace but its so big. As soon as we walked in the Manor we knew it was perfect.

Thank you. Comgratulations to you also. Don't you just love the place. This is the first time i am actually hoping for it to snow . The place looks amazing with the snow.

I have an amazing hair stylist just incase anyone is looking for one. She is in Baldwin and she goes the extra extra mile for weddings. If your interested let me know and i will give you her number :)

I am having a friday night wedding and I want everything to be elegant but fun. We are a fun, young couple and dont want a boring wedding. Does anyone have any ideas that could help me out?

hello...about your first question i think its what's best for you and Fh regarding if he comes to the showcase/vendor visits.i know for us we are on such different schedules that sometimes i go alone and sometimes not so i hope that helps...as far as elegance and fun ... i think the manor is elegant on its own...just my opinion though... picking great entertainment will add in the fun factor...you can do a fun theme, fun place cards,fun table numbers,i know one of the extras is that end of the night carnival cart i love that idea...i hope This has helped! Xo
