I CANNOT WAIT to get a dog! I have never had one and my FH and i were going to BEG our landlord to let us have a small one. THey just don't like the noise, but if we get a quiet dog (are there any?) maybe we can. I love dogs and i can't wait to get one!!!

HappyBride-yes there are hypo-allergenic dogs...like poodles and terriers. I haven't been around many to see if that is true. My aunt just got a terrier so we shall see...most of them are little dogs. I like big dogs like labs and rotties the best!

I love the bunnies. I had so many bunnies growing up. I loved them!

I never have a problem posting pics of my my lab. Benny is my baby-this week is his b-day, he'll be 3 (or legal in dog years!)

All these dogs are GREAT!! and the bunnies too!!

I have a poodle and my aunt and my sister are VERY allergic to him.. as far as quiet dogs, i think its how you train them.. Holly is quit unless the pizza delivery guy comes then its run for cover!! Little Guy loves to speak all night long!!! LOL

Isn't there a breed of dog that can't bark?
I think it's the Besengi, if I'm not mistaken.

And, although some people think it's cruel, you could always buy a shock collar to prevent your dog(s) from barking. (No different than an electric fence.)
