Re: Anyone know of a proven weight loss aid??

I was also told by a nutritionist to change my meals around and essentially to eat

Breakfast like a king - big breakfast egg whites, turkey bacon, whole wheat toast and fruit
Lunch like a prince - lean protein (chicken, fish, turkey) plus veggies and occasionally rice/potatoes
Dinner like a pauper - a salad with lots of different veggies and a small piece of lean protein.
Snacks should be fruits, veggies or nuts.

No food after 8.

She said that this will speed up metabolism without starving the body.

I'm going to sound like a preacher BUT,

the only 'proven' weight loss aid is exercise and portion/calorie control.

ephedra is a 'natural' remedy as are a lot of harmful 'diet' aids. just be careful I guess is my point. a few extra pounds (that ONLY you will know about) is not worth any health risk, IMVERYHO!

keep up the good work!

Exactly - and ephedra has been taken off the market on and off for years because of all the heart attacks it caused!

Slow and steady wins the race - it took me years to lose my weight slowly - but it is off for good!

Thats pretty much how I eat - but maybe I eat breakfast like a prince too - trying to get better about breakfast!
