I could care less if I had one. I am really not into it. I kinda feel bad because my friend,MOH, asked me the other day if I am excited about next Saturday. I asked whats next Saturday, she said your bachelorette party!! Duh!! I really didn't want anything but I am going to kinda make everyone else happy. I think we are going to dinner somewhere in Carle place and then we are going to Escapes. I wanted to just stay local.

actually I would love a joint party too ... MY girls wouldn't have a problem with it, its just HIS MEN who do ... THEY want to hit a sports bar or go to AC ..

I threw a Bachelor/ette party for my sis and BIL before they got married. It was a Jamaican theme since they went to Jamaica on their honeymoon. Red Stripe beer, jerk chicken wings, rum drinks, etc. Everyone had a blast! :o)

I have the same problem! My girls thought it was a really good idea...it was FHs friends who thought it was 'okay...i guess' which translates to 'I think it sucks!'......

I'm certainly not going to a strip club or getting wasted. I'd much rather go out to dinner with my girl friends and go to a comedy show, or do the spa thing. Or maybe even a slumber party!

I wanna have a slumber party !

Mostly with old college roomates, so it would like old times- movies , gossip, cocktails, junk food & self- manicures!

A guy friend of mien had a co-ed party with his college friends, and not his FW. We were all close before they met.
She went out with her girlfriends. WE went to a steakhouse, a concert & a bar & stayed in a hotel in Times Square.

Well I am not having an official bachelorette party,...I am different than most of you, I personally would love to have one. I like going to bars and dancing, because I NEVER GET TO DO THAT STUFF much anymore. I have a few gay friends that are from out of state, and they are traveling from the west coast for the wedding. So the Thursday before I will have an unconventional bachelorette party, where I am the only female, and a bunch of gay men ..lol Hey maybe they would be up for the spa day and a slumber party too :) Gotta love it....
