You will be suprise I honestly think you can get a better deal at the time year you are getting married and even have an evening wedding. Try Fox Hollow, Chateau Briand, and Douglaston Manor.

Re: Anyone opinion about food at Astoria World Manor?

To be honest I wasn't impressed with the food. I had gone to one of their bridal expos in '06. The good thing for me was I had Astoria World Manor and then Douglaston Manor expos right after one another. The cake was like cardboard and I couldn't even tell what the filling was.

We chose Douglaston Manor and were married last October . To us the food and cake was so much better. Check out Douglaston Manor, they usually have their expos in January and Sept. It's located in Queens.

We had a Saturday night wedding for $85pp. I don't know if their prices have gone up since then.
