We're going to rent for two years or so and then buy down in Florida, where FH grew up. I can't wait!

Currently we live together in a apt. We will probably continue renting upto a year after we're married and then try to afford to buy a house.

FH owns condo that we live in and we will be looking to buy a house in about 6-8 months I HOPE

FH and I currently own 2 homes together and live together with our 1 year old daughter.

We rent right now. We are trying to save for our house and pay for a wedding.

But really, me and FI really need to sit down and talk about it....It's more than a year away so we have awhile to decide...

We actually recently signed a contract for an apt. in the city. FI has invested a ton since he was younger and his mother is VERY generous.

We are planning on moving in together in August and will rent for awhile... we have no plans to buy anything in the very near future.. just can't afford it.

FH wants to buy.. but I think it's best for us to rent first for a little while. Also, we are looking to possibly either get off the island or go out east. So we'll see what happens... Can't imagine living out of New York, but with the prices so ridiculous, we might just have to!

We are renting together right now....we plan on buying something after the wedding -- we aren't sure if we are going to get a condo or a house. We have a lot of saving to do this year!

We plan on buying next year or the end of this year, but for now we are suck with our parents.

We are considering moving out of state b/c it is just WAY TOO ridiculous to live on LI.

Its so funny that you say living with your parents forever... today my FH said to me after we get married do I want to keep living wiht my parents ! LOL and only see him on the weekends! We'll actually live in his house (his parents have a 2 family and he has an apartment) so we'll stay there until we can afford to buy a house...

We will be moving down to Florida about 3-6 months after the wedding. We cant afford to stay up here. the problem is, where do we live in NY while we wait to Florida??? We have SOME possibilities, but we havent 100% figured that out.

We currently live together, renting an apt. in a 2 family house. When I first moved into this apt., FI already lived on his own in a small apt. We both knew that we would live together but I wanted my own space first. He moved in a year ago and we began to save $$. We hope to buy a house 1-2 years after the wedding. Otherwise, we will just stay where we are for a while. We love it here... we have full access to the yard and use the driveway. THe landlord doesn't live here either! So it's not bad, especially for Queens! i would love to buy this house!

FH owns a condo so I am moving in at the end of this month! We'll stay there for as long as we can. We're in Brooklyn and have no intentions of moving back to LI.
