Atlantic Floral

I am in the process of contracting with Atlantic Floral in Freeport. I met with Mike and he was very interested and respectful. They are also a house florist at my catering hall and came highly recommended.

Please let me know if anyone has any feedback on Atlantic Floral's work good or bad (especially bad).

Teresa, I booked this company to do the flowers for my wedding as well. My reasons for choosing them were similar to yours--they were polite, very professional, and seemed eager to please. I also found their prices fairly reasonable considering that they are the house florist for some expensive halls (i.e. Oheka Castle). Though the wedding hasn't actually taken place yet, I am truly not worried that they will produce what I ordered in a timely and professional manner. Please let me know if you hear anything about them. Good luck.

Please let me know your opinions! Thanks.

GOOD LUCK!

Ann Marie, My wedding is at Sandcastle too!! When is your wedding. If you get married first, I'd love to hear your input on things I should or should not do. My wedding is on June 4 2000 so if I'm first I'll give you the same info.

Thanks.

Teresa, Your wedding is first. Mine is October 7, 2000! I'd love to hear how everything goes for you. Let's keep in touch!!

i'm having my reception at the thatched cottage. i didn't really look at many other places because i have been to other events there and i really like what they had to offer. the only problem that i have had is the fact that the upstairs reception hall (which is the better place to have the reception) can only hold up to 185 people, but i was told that i really shouldn't have more then 170, if i want to keep it comfortable. the food is excellent and the presentation is beautiful! the only thing that could cause a problem is if it is low tide during your cocktail hour. the cocktail hour is downstairs, on the water, and if it is low tide, it can make for an unpleasant hour! so check the tides before you decide on a date.

Best of luck with your upcoming wedding!

Sounds great!!! I'm on this board all the time or you can e-mail me with any questions you might have. Dana was my contact at the Sancastle and it is my understanding that she moved to the Floral Terrace. Let me know who you're dealing with at the Sandcastle and if they were good so I can request them to manage the rest of the affair.

Thanks. Teresa
