Christine - You mean a lot to a lot of people here. I for one look forward to your posts and to your opinions. I wish you'd reconsider and stay but I understand and respect your wishes regardless. Please FM me if it's there's another way to ask for your opinion on things. If not, I understand.

What Ron & Liz are saying is that they've probably been advised by legal counsel to NOT say anything about this. We have to remember that this is their site and it effects their livelyhood. I'd like an explanation as well but we're probably going to have to wait until everything dies down. It's frustrating but I'm not sure we can do anything else.

I agree. I think we need to stop questioning Ron's decision and wait until he gives further explanatin. This is their livelihood and I guess they are doing whatever needs to done to protect that.

It doesn't. One thing that happened is many started jumping to conclusions and then believing those conclusions. Some called me directly for an explanation which I suppied.

I think we can all respect that. we will wait like good kids and hopefully we will get an explanation soon.

I've stayed pretty quiet during this, and I fm Liz & Ron directly. I understand completely where you are coming from. The flip side is, there are so many 'fake brides' on these sites, they can ruin or put a sour taste in our mouths. Most of them are vendors. I have proof of that from a FM I received from Ron & Liz. I always FM them when something sounds fishy. I just wish things could get back to normal, but I don't see that happening.

Let me see if I understand this correctly,

-1- a former LIW member (not Christine) used LIW copyrighted material to either promote their business, or someone else's business, and as a result LIW has decided to take legal action against that indivdual and/or business.

-2- This came on the heels of Christine being banned, and as a result everyone who didn't know the real reason behind Christine being banned jumped to conclusions about why that action was taken.

Items 1 & 2 have nothing to do with one another, except to the extent that the bride in #1 above might have been mentioned in any thread involving #2, without Christine knowing there was pending legal action.

LIW explained to Christine why the action was taken against her account in a phone call, and she understands and accepts the explanation, and has let it go, but the rest of us, who only caught bits and pieces are confused, and LIW is unable to provide more than the barest of details on the advice of their lawyers?

Do I have all of that right Ron & Liz??

I too would like to let this go, but I want to make sure I understand what you are saying so that there are no future misunderstandings.

I think Ron/Liz went over & above with an explanation to us. Ladies, Christine & Ron assured us it wasn't her, let's just go back to planning our weddings & offering advice, etc.
