I found this poem which I thought was beautiful. What a great little part of the ceremony that could be special.

Although death has separated us physically, faith and love have bound us eternally. Though we cannot see you, we know you are here. Though we cannot touch you, we feel the warmth of your smile, as we begin a new chapter in our lives.

Today we pause to reflect upon those who have shaped our character, molded our spirits and touched our hearts. May the lighting of this candle be a reminder of the memories we have shared, a representation of the everlasting impact you have made upon our lives.

Kate That was great- Jeremy and I have been thinking of ways to include my father into the ceremony-- this would be perfect to remember all the important people that we have lost Thanks so much Laura

WHat time of year was your quote for? I'm having my reception on New Year's Day and I was originally quoted a price of $110 and they changed it to $65 for the exact same menu.

It is important that you be completely comfortable with your decision. If you're not - go elsewhere. There are plenty of other people out there who will cater to your needs. You shouldn't have to 'push' for anything...
