danigirl- did you decide on a song? i came across this post in a search to find a father/daugter dance song- i really like lullaby- not sure if i should use it though bc of the story behind it.

any other suggestions on billy joel songs?

I am also thinking about using 'Lullabye' for my dance with my father...I'm a HUGE Billy Joel fan. You're My Home is another good one, but that might apply more to a first dance with your FH. I just looked through every billy joel album that I own...which is all of them, and i can't find anything better than what was already mentioned.

I have a warning to you ladies about 'Lullaby'. It has NO BEAT to it whatsoever. It is really hard to dance to.

hey girls! i was very surprised to see this post back up! i pretty much decided on just the way you are...it makes me cry every time i hear it. like i said, ill leave out some words maybe, but it totally reminds me of my father. we'll be bawling at the wedding!!
