I have to go every 6 months too..and to be honest I think the 'whole hour wait then let me see you for 5 minutes' bothers me more than the actual exam.

Not that its a good idea not to go but i know there was a study recently that said if you had consistently normal paps then you didnt need to go every year but every 3 instead. I dont know if any doctors have adopted this policy yet im sure not because they wouldnt get paid for the visits as often but if you are that bad with the exams it might be worth it to look into that and bring it up to your doctor.
