i'm doing sort of a black theme too - black bridesmaids dresses and both Mothers in black. but all the flowers are bright pinks, purples, blues and greens. we are doing black table cloths too - to make the flowers and all the candles really pop!

i was in a black and white wedding in March, and i already wore the dress again 2x. i think my girls will also be able to wear theirs again. in fact, i might borrow it from one of them - i love the dress!

I've decided on using Black for my May wedding. The dresses are tea length and black w/turquoise accents. I saw the sample in black w/fuchia and thought it was nice, but I'm more into the blue colors. It's a Bari Jay dress #713. My reason for using black was that I wanted them to be able to use the dress again and I've been in several weddings and never once was able to use the dress again.

Edited to include a photo of the sample dress I saw...

I am having and always wanted for my BM to wear black dresses. I think it is so elegant and you can then use any kind of flower and decor.

We decided on black BM dresses instead of the maroon we had originally wanted.

Now Im looking for wedding dress ideas with hints of black in it. If anyone has pics that would be so great.
